  • Key responsibilities include preparing cash flow forecasts, monitoring project costs, and authorizing payments to sub-contractors.

Our client is a leading tier 1 contractor specialising in student accommodation, mixed use developments, retail, residential developments, hotels and sport and leisure. They offer cutting-edge knowledge and experience in sustainability and digital construction to deliver exceptional results across both the public and private sectors.

They are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business and work on a large D&B residential scheme in Manchester.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast.
  • Assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.
  • Assist in the control of contract budgets.
  • Prepare monthly valuation reports
  • Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
  • Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Monitor the contract progress
