Job Title: Transport AdministratorLocation: Warrington (WA5)Salary: £25,717 (paid 40hrs per week)Shifts: Monday- Friday 10:00- 19:00Contract: Temporary OngoingTo assist in managing the delivery and collection of vehicles within the organisation to meet customer requirements, ensuring positive communication between internal teams and customers.As the Transport Administrator your duties will be:
  • Support the Transport Managers in administrative duties for the department, including maintenance of spreadsheets, raising purchase orders.
  • Support the Transport Coordinators in conducting pre-briefs and de-briefs with drivers ensuring any issues raised are captured and escalated as required.
  • Support the Transport Coordinators in preparing and allocating driver paperwork and store keys; ensuring drivers are fully aware of the requirements for the designated route.
  • Comply with all legal and Company policies and procedures regarding health and safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
The successful Transport Administrator will have the following skills;
  • Must have excellent administration skills ideally within a transport department.
  • Excellent communication skills including friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good relationship building skills.
