Tradewind are recruiting for a specialised Religious Education Teacher to work in one of our all-boy catholic Secondary Schools with a co-educational Sixth Form in Northwich. The department is composed of 8 skilled professionals, ranging from Newly Qualified Teachers to Senior Leaders. Weekly collaboration ensures shared resources, planning, and support, while fostering individual teaching autonomy.
The school aims to 'inspire life in all its fullness', and ensures students are respectful young men and women, who have a passion for lifelong learning, are equipped for the future, are values-led, and seek to build supportive and long-lasting relationships.
Position Highlights:
- Humanities Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4, with the option to teach Key Stage 5.
- A Specialism in either RE or Humanities is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of the current curriculum
- Temporary contract with the option for long-term or go Permanent - MPS 1-6 and UPS 1-3 (£160.35 to £230.55 per day).
- Supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in a collaborative, positive work environment.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven ability to teacher either RE or Geography to Key Stages 3 and 4
- An enhanced child only DBS, which is on the update service.
- Full work history and be eligible to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorship.
