What You Will Do
- Personal Advisor Duties – Fulfil the responsibilities outlined in the Children Leaving Care Act 2000.
- Independence Preparation – Collaborate with social workers to prepare young people for independent living.
- Ongoing Support – Provide practical and emotional support to care leavers living in the community.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration – Work alongside partner agencies to deliver holistic and high-quality services.
- Crisis Response – React promptly and effectively to emerging crises and urgent situations.
Applicant Requirements
- Experience – Proven background as a Personal Advisor or similar role, with the ability to engage confidently with young people.
- Qualifications – Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Compliance – An Enhanced DBS check and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
- Driving – A full UK driving license is preferred for this position.
