Tradewind Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated practitioner who holds strong Special Educational Needs experience.

About the Role

You will be assigned to a suitable classroom where you will be able to meet the needs of the students. It is imporant that you work as part of a team to ensure that all children are learning in a safe and inclusive learning environment. It may be required for you to support students on a 1-1 or small group basis.

What You'll Do
  • Provide personal, social and academic development.
  • Use your expertise to manage challenging behavior effectively.
  • Acknowledge learning / development gaps and contribute to implementing measures to fill these gaps.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions, including Autism, ADHD, and more.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of each child.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable.
