The role:

Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to maintain its position as a market leader and drive continuous improvement. The role involves leading the central procurement teams, identifying efficiency opportunities, and contributing to the development of the Quantum portal. You will play a key role in introducing new procurement products aligned with customer needs and organisational strategy, while ensuring compliance with changes in legislation and policy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of procurement within a forward-thinking, technology-driven organisation.

Key duties:

  • Lead the delivery of core frameworks, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
  • Oversee the Central Data and Procurement Teams, driving procurement strategy and enhancing data standards.
  • Champion technology advancements, process improvements, and procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and uphold standard operating procedures and best practices across procurement operations.
  • Support team development and maintain our client's Knowledge Bank for critical market and supplier insights.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing key accounts, advising on process improvements, and maintaining compliance.

Key skills and Experience required:

  • Extensive procurement experience
  • Excellent knowledge of public procurement policy and legislation
  • A relevant professional qualification such as MCIPS (Fully qualified practitioner)
