Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are currently working in partnership with a dynamic and fast-growing FMCG business, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. Our client's operations span multiple sites, and they pride themselves on their efficient and innovative stock management practices.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Stock Control Manager to oversee our client's stock management operations across multiple sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our stock, with a total holding value of £20 million. The successful candidate will be based in Warrington but will also be required to travel across the UK as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a rapidly growing business that will allow for full autonomy and ownership over the businesses stock & inventory department & processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Oversee stock holding with a total value of £20 million
  • Stock & inventory control
  • Identify trends and provide accurate forecasting to support business decisions
  • Influence purchasing decisions by identifying slow and fast-moving items
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager
  • Travel across the UK as required to support stock management operations
  • Leading a well established team

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in stock management across multiple sites
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and forecast accurately
  • Experience managing stock holding values of £20 million
  • Ability to influence purchasing decisions and identify slow and fast-moving items
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required
