Job Overview:

Provide expert health and safety support across the company to drive best practices, ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Coordinator:
Â
- Supporting the H&S Team in executing and enhancing health and safety strategies and objectives.
- Assisting the H&S Director in preparing regular reports and publishing health and safety statistics across the organisation.
- Collecting and analysing health and safety data to drive targeted improvements in H&S performance.
- Conducting site inspections and audits at manufacturing facilities and project sites.
- Coordinating the team's monitoring schedule (audits/inspections).
- Assisting with the ongoing ISO45001 assessment/recertification process.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of H&S management systems.
- Developing and implementing H&S initiatives and ensuring compliance on project sites.
- Providing administrative support for project-based H&S Advisors.
- Acting as the main point of contact for information collection for PQQs and Tender submissions.
- Supporting internal H&S forums and project-based working groups.
- Assisting in the rollout of the H&S Digital Transformation initiative.
- Preparing and issuing Toolbox Talks, Alerts, and Bulletins.
- Managing awards and membership submissions.
- Overseeing the shared H&S inbox.

Profile of the Health and Safety Coordinator:
Â
- Experience using digital reporting platforms.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to act professionally and influence stakeholders, including senior management.
- Solid understanding of statutory health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with civil claim and insurance processes.
- Knowledge of QA systems and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
Â
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification, such as NCRQ Safety for Managers (desirable or willingness to obtain).
- ISO45001 Internal Auditor certification (desirable).
