Role Responsibilities- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio, including SMEs, corporate entities, and not-for-profit organisations
- Preparing financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members, providing constructive feedback and mentorship
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and offering expert audit advice
- Assisting with risk assessments and audit planning, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process
- Working closely with senior management and partners to identify opportunities for adding value to clients
- Staying up to date with audit regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance at all times

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified, or a finalist with relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience leading external audits, ideally within a mid-tier or independent firm
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships confidently
- Leadership qualities, with experience mentoring and supporting junior staff
- Proficiency in audit software and accounting platforms such as CCH, CaseWare, or similar
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
