Summary

Duration: Fixed Term contract until 28th February 2025

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

More shifts will be available in summer, high days and school holidays and less in quieter times, such as January, February and November. Days will vary from 4.5 hours to 6.25 hours long.

Interview date: Monday 4th November 2024

What it's like to work here

Reporting to our Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 6 working at Charlecote Park. You will support all departments at Charlecote to help deliver the best service possible, such as greeting visitors at the house and engaging with visitors about our collection and the history of the property. You will also support the welcome team in Visitor Reception to welcome members and visitors to Charlecote and help in the commercial areas at Charlecote, such as the cafe and shop.

What you'll be doing Service Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help in various visitor areas. You’ll be involved in different tasks.  These could include greeting visitors on arrival, restocking the shelves in the shop and clearing tables in the café. Most importantly you’ll talk to visitors, answering any questions they have to make sure they can find everything they need for their visit. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
