Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a world leading automotive company recruit a Software Compliance Engineer, and the role comes with an Umbrella rate of £31.89 per hour. This role requires being on site in Gaydon 3 days per week and working from home twice a week.
As a Software Compliance Engineer, you will oversee software compliance across all domain ECUs for UK, India and China.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Define UNECE 156 global product backlog
- Plan for ensuring process compliance across programmes, including supplier and in-house produced software
- Coordinate software process evaluation to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards
- Lead epics for technical assessment of SW development
- Identify risks and impediments related to process and product non-compliance and liaise with cross-functional software chapter heads.

- The ability to effectively explain complex ideas, initiative and data insights, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders
- Analytical skills including the ability to conduct thorough compliance interrogation of software changes and updates
- Good understanding of automotive systems and software processes, methods and tools
- Experience working in a medium or large organisation delivering complex products.
