Parts Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for a Parts Assistant Manager to work for a growing automotive manufacturing customer of ours in Warwick.

Job Purpose:
The successful applicant will be responsible forwinning conquest business, including market share expansion with targeted customers.Supporting the Parts Manager in overseeing all aspects of the parts department operations, optimise departmental efficiency, profitability & new growth opportunities. Using data analysis to make informed decisions regarding discounts, inventory management, pricing strategies, supplier relationships, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Liaise with list of customers targeted through data analysis.
• Provide customers with commercial price proposals.
• Respond to customer Parts tenders.
• Analysis of fast and slow moving Parts and making commercial price decision to increase sales volume and profitability.
• Tracking results of price changes
• Data Collection: Gather relevant parts data from various sources, including sales records, Supplier market information and customer feedback.
• Exploratory Parts Data Analysis: Perform initial exploratory analysis to understand the characteristics and patterns within the data relating to Parts. Use statistical techniques and visualisation tools to identify trends, correlations, and outliers.

Candidate Pre-requisites

• Business-to-business wholesale experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience within automotive parts.
• Strong face-to-face communication skills with customers.
• 5+ years relevant experience.
• Pricing analysis experience (desireable).
• Aftermarket (OEM) experience (desireable)
• Ability to work with and analyse large sets of data (desireable)
