VIQU have partnered with a government authority based in Warwickshire who are looking for a PMO Analyst to ensure the successful delivery of change projects and programmes across the organisation.

The PMO Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of programmes and projects within the Project Management Office, focusing on change-driven digital and IT transformation efforts. This role involves collaborating with Project Managers and stakeholders to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining the organisation's ethical principles and values.

Key Responsibilities of the PMO Analyst:

  • Oversee project documentation and ensure alignment with PMO standards.
  • Track risks and resources across projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to assess project progress.
  • Conduct audits and refine processes for improved efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on PMO practices and methodologies.

Essential Skills for PMO Analyst:

  • Project Support Experience: Previous experience in a PMO role, project support, or project coordination, demonstrating familiarity with project management processes and frameworks.
  • Change Project Involvement and Digital Expertise: Proven experience working on change initiatives, specifically in managing or supporting digital and IT-based projects, showcasing an understanding of project dynamics and technology-driven transformation.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Strong comfort and expertise with Excel and spreadsheet tools, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting functions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data for reporting purposes, providing insights to support decision-making and project planning.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Demonstrated capability in project planning, including the development of timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Resource Coordination: Experience in managing and allocating resources across multiple teams to ensure efficient project execution and alignment with objectives.
