Certain Advantage are hiring for a PA based in Leek Wooton

This role is on a permanent basis.

The role

  • Manage a complex diary, prioritizing meetings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring all necessary documents and admin tasks are prepared for smooth operations.
  • Organize travel and accommodation, handle financial tasks such as credit card statements, purchase orders, and expense submissions.
  • Support strategic meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, monitoring communications, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain regular updates with the Chief Officer, keeping them informed of commitments and decisions.
  • Conduct research and provide comprehensive briefings while collaborating with senior staff and external contacts.
  • Manage correspondence, drafting responses, and ensuring timely sharing of information.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to uphold the Chief Officer's reputation.
  • Coordinate force-level events, including invitations, citations, venue bookings, and awards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for visitors, ensuring professional treatment and proper arrangements.

The individual

  • Excellent word processing skills.
  • Competent in the use of IT packages including Microsoft packages including 365.
  • The ability to work unsupervised on own initiative to tight deadlines and prioritise a demanding workload.
  • The ability to research and analyse large volumes of information and prioritise as appropriate.
  • The ability to deal tactfully and appropriately with people at all levels, exhibiting sound judgement and high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Proven track record as an effective team player.
  • The ability to deal with all confidential matters with absolute discretion and integrity.
