Job Title: EHC Plan CoordinatorLocation: RemoteSalary: £300-£350pdContract Type: Temporary until August 2025Hours: Full time 37 hours pwAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and motivated EHC Plan Coordinator to join the Warwickshire County Council team and play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to improving outcomes for families by delivering high-quality Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).Key Responsibilities:
  • Writing and drafting Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) tailored to individual needs.
  • Preparing cases for placement decisions at panel and coordinating consultation processes with schools and professionals.
  • Moderating funding decisions and ensuring appropriate allocation of resources.
  • Issuing final EHCPs in line with statutory requirements and timescales.
  • Liaising effectively with professionals, schools, and families to ensure collaborative decision-making.
  • Managing multiple cases and timelines, maintaining accuracy and efficiency under pressure.
  • Working at pace to meet statutory deadlines while ensuring compliance with SEND Code of Practice and legal frameworks.
About You:To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in drafting and coordinating EHCPs or similar complex assessments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • A detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and quality in written plans and funding decisions.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
