** Finance Assistant **

Entry level opportunity with study support + 35hrs + hybrid working

  • Completing reconciliations for bank accounts in multiple currencies.
  • Posting bank transactions and journals.
  • Scanning and processing purchase ledger invoices onto accounting software.
  • Aiding the purchase ledger team by requesting copy invoices.
  • Reconciling statements.
  • Managing the accounts email inbox .
  • Sending out sales ledger copy invoices.
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Accounts team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including a Level 5 or above in Mathematics and English.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and pride in work product.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise workload, remaining composed during busy periods.
  • Proactive in assisting other team members.
  • Good communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
