Hays Education are working with a GOOD Ofsted rated Secondary school near Leamington Spa, easily accessible from Warwick, Coventry and Rugby. The school are looking for a TA with strong SEN experience to join on a long-term basis.   • Provide tailored support to students with behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in their academic work and help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to monitor and report on student progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working with children with behavioural needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' development.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable).
