An Electrical Controls Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be managing porjects designing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments and facilities.

Description

  • Design and develop new control systems.
  • Test, maintain and modify existing systems.
  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to evaluate and improve electrical systems.
  • Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work in collaboration with manufacturers, operational staff, suppliers and customers.
  • Provide advice and consultancy support to colleagues and clients.
  • Manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating work.

Profile

A successful Electrical Controls Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in control system design and application.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
