Do you hold some level of industry experience within a Solar Design role and specialised in commercial installations? Are you looking to join the largest and most established independent solar and battery storage installer within the North East?
This company are specialists in business and commercial Solar PV systems and have been designing, installing and maintaining these specialist systems for their client base for over 10 years now. The business have recently won recognised awards to support their efforts over the years and have very exciting plans in place to grow the business.
In this role you will be working within the Technical team which is currently made up of 5 individuals. The company have forecasted exciting plans not only for this team but the entire growth of the company, which will open up progression opportunities, including Senior Designer and Design Manager. Your main duty will be to design and develop Solar PV and Battery Storage projects on both a domestic and commercial scale. However, you will also be responsible for preparing quotations and proposals, assist with preparing tenders and develop new business opportunities and build client relationships.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate some level of industry experience within the same or similar position and hold excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with a range of clientele.

The Role:
* Responsible for developing and executing designs for domestic and commercial solar PV and battery storage solutions.
* Part of a growing team and supporting the wider company growth.
* Excellent training and progression opportunities available.
* Access to company shares once completed probationary period.
* Monday to Friday office based.
* 1:30pm early finish every Friday.
The Person:
* Background and knowledge of commercial electrical design.
* Good knowledge of domestic/commercial solar PV systems.
* Able to demonstrate strong IT skills, including design software such as AutoCAD and PVSol.
* Able to commute to office Monday - Friday.
