Senior Client Manager (Accountant)

Responsibilities:

To coach train and lead their team 4-5 direct reports

  • Prepare accounts & tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
  • Engage clients via phone, email, social media, and in person, including record follow-ups.
  • Manage book-keeping, VAT returns, and CIS requirements.
  • Serve as a link between clients and HM Revenue & Customs, addressing queries.
  • Ensure HMRC/Companies House data is accurate and current.
  • Deliver top-tier client care through reports, updates, and welcoming interactions.

Requirements:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced accountancy practice with a varied client load.
  • Prepare accounts & tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
  • Familiarity with Xero, Quickbooks, DEXT, Free Agent (preferred, not essential).
  • Possess a solid understanding of tax principles.
