Summary
Ensure smooth operation of facilities across UK locations. Autonomously manage daily tasks while meeting high standards. Regular Friday afternoon work and occasional out-of-hours/weekend work required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-house PPM on equipment (generators, compressors, AC, air quality systems).
  • Conduct monthly safety checks (fire extinguishers, emergency exits, water temps, site security, etc.).
  • Maintain Facilities Service Request Log and complete DIY maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in arranging and supervising contractors.
  • Handle general repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, safety checks).
  • Order parts/equipment and manage waste collections.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure site safety.
  • Support business continuity and emergency response plans.

     

Skills & Experience

  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues/contractors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Hands-on maintenance skills, including plumbing and electrical work.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Experience managing small building projects.
  • Ability to lift, move, and work at height; must be physically fit.
  • Valid driving licence and vehicle required.
