AJ Chambers are thrilled to be working with a progressive and tech-savvy accountancy practice, currently seeking a Trainee Service Charge Accountant to join their friendly and forward-thinking team in Watford.

About the Role
As a Trainee Service Charge Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of accounts and reports while gaining hands-on experience and studying for your AAT qualification. Joining the Service Charge Accounts team, you’ll be working in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare service charge accounts and reports under the supervision of experienced team members.
- Attend job-specific training courses and develop technical knowledge relevant to the role.
- Manage your workload effectively, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the high standards expected within the team.
- Contribute to an innovative and inclusive workplace, in line with the company’s values.
Successful Candidate
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be approachable, detail-oriented, and confident in interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
- Be eager to learn and apply new technical knowledge and software.
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset and the drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Prior experience in Service Charge Accounts is not essential, as training and development opportunities will be provided.
