Field Service Engineer – Machine Tool OEM
Location: Field based, covering North London and the Northern Home Counties
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Vehicle + Bonuses + Benefits

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll travel across your region, with possible travel further afield, to ensure the optimal performance of advanced CNC machine tools. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reactive & Preventative Maintenance – Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Machine Installations & Commissioning – Setting up new machines and ensuring they run efficiently.
- Servicing & Repairs – Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Customer Training & Support – Providing guidance on machine operation and best practices.
- OEM Training & Development – Access world class training, including visits to international sites.

What You’ll Need
- Apprentice trained in engineering – Mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline.
- Practical maintenance experience – Some knowledge of machine tools is required, even if only at a basic level.
- Willingness to Learn – Open to developing new skills and adapting to evolving technologies.
- Comfortable with Travel – The role involves regular overnight stays and extensive travel.
- Full UK Driving Licence – Required for travel to customer sites.
