Location: Watford - Hybrid and can consider candidates from a wider geographical area

Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000 - £90,000 (Negotiable, dependent on experience)

Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Account Executive to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a modest client portfolio while pursuing new business targets to grow accounts over a 2-5 year period. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a modest client portfolio, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Develop new business opportunities to expand the portfolio over a 2-5 year period.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships, ensuring client retention and growth.
  • Engage with a wide range of industries and products, including Property, Leisure, Retail, Manufacturing, Tech, and Risks.
  • Meet or exceed new business targets, with the goal of building a book up to £200,000 over a 3-5 year period.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients on their insurance needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role within Commercial Insurance.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop new business.
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
