Key Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Part qualified in ACCA/IAB/ACA/CIMA or equivalent finance qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in producing Trial Balance and maintain control accounts
  • Reconcile bank statements and update cashbooks daily
  • Process purchase ledger invoices and maintain accounts payable ledgers
  • Ensure invoices match purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals
  • Prepare weekly payment runs and manage cash flow
  • Communicate with suppliers and archive accounts documents
  • Assist with VAT returns and process staff expenses
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register and generate monthly reports
  • Conduct reconciliations and generate reports from ERP systems
  • Support opening new accounts and track documentation

Skills:

  • Proficient in SAGE 200, Word, and Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
