Business Development Manager – Food ManufacturingWe are looking for a motivated commercially driven Business Development Manager with a passion for artisan food and an eye for opportunity. Our client is a growing bakery manufacturing business renowned for supplying handcrafted, award-winning baked goods to some of the finest establishments in London. With a loyal client base that includes Michelin-starred restaurants and premium foodservice outlets, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business in a newly created position that offers lots of autonomy.Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to drive company growth
  • Manage key national and independent accounts, including pricing negotiations and performance tracking
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to maximise sales potential
  • Analyse sales data and customer buying trends to spot opportunities within current accounts
  • Present commercial updates and sales forecasts to company directors in monthly meetings

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Development, Commercial, or Account Management role
  • A proven track record of delivering sales growth within food manufacturing
  • Confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and turn insights into action
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships
