As Category Manager youll play a key role in shaping theirfuture and leading the charge on product development, supplier relationships, and much more!
What Youll Do as Category Manager:
- Take Ownership:Manage and grow theElectrical product category, developing and implementing category strategies that drive sales and profitability.
- Supplier Relationships:Be the driving force behind building and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and terms.
- Lead Initiatives:Take charge of category plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities that boost theirsales volume and gross margin.
- Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure theircategory strategy aligns with company goals and delivers results.
- Stay Ahead of Trends:Conduct in-depth market analysis, identifying key trends and opportunities to ensure they offer the best products and services to their customers.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience:3-5 years of experience in category management and procurement, within theElectricalindustry.
- Electrical Knowledge:A deep understanding of Electrical productsis essential, along with the ability to identify market trends and customer demands.
- Negotiation Skills:A proven track record of successfully negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive terms.
- Financial Acumen:Strong understanding of sales volume, gross margin, and inventory management, with the ability to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration:Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams to achieve business objectives.

- Competitive Salary:£55,000 - £60,000 per year (depending on experience).
