Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Client Relationship Manager to work with one of our Private Practice clients in Hertfordshire.

What the job will be doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the operations managers between the client and the company, addressing any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients to ensure all accommodation needs are met and to identify any areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs, offering additional services or accommodations as appropriate.
  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination with internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery of accommodation services.
  • Work with the operations team to troubleshoot any issues related to accommodation arrangements or service quality.
  • Track client satisfaction metrics and feedback to inform future strategies.
  • Looking after an established base of clients as well as growing levels of business year on year
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices within the insurance accommodation industry.
  • Ensure that all services and solutions comply with industry regulations, insurance standards, and company policies.
  • Attending exhibitions and meetings face to face when required to build rapport, present or carry out training.Networking should also take place on platforms such as Linked In.
  • Address any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner, working to resolve conflicts and prevent escalation.
  • Implement client-specific solutions while maintaining a high level of service and ensuring client satisfaction.

What you will need

  • Recent account management experience or success within a business development or client relationship role; ability to build relationships and make a positive impact.
  • A proven track record of account growth; managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Ability to speak with key contacts, gaining increased incoming business levels
  • Experience of driving an account management programme, working with senior management to increase market share.
  • Excellent telephone manner and excellent written skills and proficiency in pulling together high level presentations
  • Drive and determination to succeed; a passion for sales and relationship-building
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
