Our Client are a leading business who specialise in manufacturing and distributing towed equipment and parts to the plant hire, construction and utility industries. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Executive - telemarketing / prospecting - to be based from their Watford office. This role is working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with a basic salary up to £35,000 (plus further earning potential through commission) depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join the company as a Business Development Executive. The purpose of this role is to proactively sell the products and services of the company in an outbound sales position.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Execute outbound calls and activities to grow and retain existing customers
  • Identify & follow-up quotable opportunities.
  • Demonstrate to customers a thorough understanding/knowledge of our product ranges.
  • Accurately record customer interactions and data in CRM.
  • Gain a strong understanding of company products
  • Liaising with internal teams
  • Working toward set KPIs

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as telesales executive or similar sales role
  • Experience of working with technical or complex information.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
  • Ability to influence.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong teamworking skills
