Member Services Support Coordinator

Join our client's dynamic team as a Member Services Support Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in supporting their fast-growing specialist health insurance business. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to their new business and retention targets by providing exceptional support across various areas.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the 'Print queue', assemble and send policy literature, and maintain postage credit.
  • Handle stationery ordering, report creation, and review.
  • Distribute all correspondence received via post and e-mail.
  • Manage inboxes for team members on leave or absent to ensure minimal delays.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including data protection, business security, conduct risk, consumer duty, and fraud & anti-money laundering.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally both over the phone and in written form.
  • Attend regular review meetings and appraisals to monitor progress and identify training needs.
  • Suggest improvements to processes to enhance team efficiency and customer service excellence.
  • Build professional relationships and foster team spirit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills, with the ability to use concise, clear, and appropriate language.
  • Effective listening and response skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and successful relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organisational skills; capable of managing multiple demands.
  • Proactive approach with a 'can-do' mentality.
  • Ability to respond well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on cooperation and teamwork.
  • Self-motivated and confident, with a professional and honest demeanour.
