I am actively recruiting an Audit Manager for a Top 50 firm based in Watford. Their Watford office is home to around 120 employees, half of which sit in the audit and accounts department. The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing a full portfolio of medium/large clients including some large groups, as well as booking appropriate staff to complete each audit.

What clients will you be working with?

  • Clients range from small family enterprises to large international corporations across a range of sectors including charities & not for profit, FCA regulated, golf clubs, GP's and medical practices, pension schemes, property, construction, solicitors, schools, technology, media, telecommunications, travel & tour operators, restaurants, and retail

What will the Audit Manager role entail?

  • Managing a portfolio of medium/large clients including some groups.
  • Ensuring appropriate staff are booked to complete each audit
  • Reviewing and delegating work
  • Budgets, fee negotiation
  • WIP and Billing
  • Training and development of junior team members including appraisals/reviews
  • Business development / networking events

Audit Manager requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with 5-10 years' experience from a UK practice
  • UK GAAP / FRS 102 experience
  • CaseWare experience desirable
  • Experience managing junior team members
