Our client, a leading developer of high-quality residential properties, is seeking a Bid Coordinator to join their team. With a proven track record of delivering outstanding new build and refurbishment projects, our client is dedicated to creating homes that cater to both private and affordable housing markets.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Pre-Construction Director and will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of the company’s bidding and tendering processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand client needs within both the private and social housing sectors and leverage this insight to create compelling bids and tender submissions that drive successful outcomes.
  • Respond to invitations to tender (ITT), OJEU notices, and development bids by preparing high-quality PQQs and tailored bid documents that meet specific client requirements.
  • Develop creative, commercially viable solutions that add value to the bidding process.
  • Produce well-structured, clear documents that effectively convey key messages and maximise the chances of winning bids.
  • Present bids to key clients, building strong relationships and enhancing the credibility of the bid team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development department, Construction Managers, Design Coordinators, Estimators, and Buyers to ensure seamless and successful bid submissions.
  • Oversee the publication process, ensuring that all submission documents meet accuracy and efficiency standards.
  • Audit and review bid documents, maintaining a comprehensive library of technical and commercial information to support future submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in residential development or contracting.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
