Applications Specialist - Production Print Equipment 
(Field-Based, UK - Nationwide Travel Required)

A global leader in digital print technology and workflow solutions is seeking a specialist in colour management, Fiery RIP software, and customer training to support their service team with post-installation assistance for their Production Print technology range.

This is a field-based role requiring nationwide travel five days a week, with occasional international collaboration.

The Role

As a key technical expert, you’ll ensure customers, resellers, and service partners achieve the best performance from their digital print equipment. Your responsibilities will include post-installation support - such as profiling, calibration, and media setup - alongside ongoing troubleshooting and workflow optimisation.

You’ll work closely with presales teams to support demonstrations, exhibitions, and customer trials. Additionally, you'll collaborate with European and global technical support teams to enhance best practices, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer training on digital print workflows, software, hardware, and best practices.
  • Provide post-installation support, including profiling, calibration, and media setup.
  • Offer 2nd-line technical support, troubleshooting workflow and hardware issues.
  • Support resellers and service partners, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with European/global technical teams to enhance service improvements.
  • Manage and support service partners to improve efficiency and problem resolution.
  • Assist with pre-sales technical support, including demonstrations and exhibitions.

The Person

  • Fiery Cutsheet Professional Certification or Fiery Expert Certification.
  • Strong expertise in colour management and hands-on experience with digital print workflows.
  • Extensive experience with RIP software (including Fiery and other leading solutions).
  • At least 5 years experience training end users of Production Print equipment, and ability to deliver engaging demonstrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work in the field five days a week.
