Welfare Assistant

A very established local School require a Welfare Assistant to manage student health and welfare issues, first aid knowledge is required for this position.

Some of your duties will include:

- Supporting the Business Manager in promoting and managing student health and welfare

- Administering first aid and care to students referred to by staff of who are self-referred

- Monitoring students until they are able to return to lessons or are passed into the care of a parent/guardian

- Organising school health immunisation program and supplying first aid kits for trips

- Providing basic first aid knowledge to staff at the start of the academic year

- Making contact with parents/guardians as appropriate and ensuring records are kept
