HSE Advisor 

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week (Mon - Fri) 9am Start Time

Pay Rate: £200 per day

Contract Length: 2 months

Key Resonsibilities:

  • HSE Advisor ensures the effective management of Health & Safety across the Region, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Compliance with HS&E legislation and VINCI Facilities health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Interface, communicate, liaise and maintain effective relationships with the Site teams
  • Produce reports, as directed by the HSE Manager and identify remedial action, monitor effective implementation
  • Undertake Investigations, as directed by the HSE Manager, produce reports and identify root cause and learning
  • Monitor HSE standards across the Contract, identify and implement improvement activities
  • Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
  • Deliver training, as directed by the HSE Manager
  • Manage own work allocation to ensure that the Business Unit/Region allocated receives regular site visits/inspections based upon risk
  • Undertake Subcontractor/Supply Chain Audits as required
  • Provide a reactive response to incidents, as directed by the HSE Manager coordinate incident response from HSE perspective
  • By example, provide visible leadership on HSE, actively encouraging and developing managers within the Region to do the same

Key Skills

  • NEBOSH General
  • Security clearance- Must have lived in the UK for a number of years
  • Will require own car to move between sites. These are based throughout the region.
