Are you looking for a fast-growing company with a reputation for top-notch service?About the Buy to Let and Commercial Mortgage Administrator Role:As a Mortgage Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Buy to let & Commercial department and advisors, covering all key mortgage processing, underwriting and administration to achieve required business levels and completions.Buy to Let and Commercial Mortgage Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Support the BTL & Commercial team with mortgage processing, underwriting, and administration
  • Ensure SLAs are met or exceeded
  • Assist team members in managing caseloads during peak times or absences
  • Maintain thorough records on CRM systems, ensuring clear and concise notes

Handle all general mortgage administration tasks, including:

  • CRM data entry and registering new business inquiries
  • Conducting credit reports and land registry searches
  • Producing and sending indicative terms to clients and brokers
  • Submitting Decision in Principle (DIP)/Agreement in Principle (AIP) applications to lenders
  • Fact-finding for client application forms
  • Instructing valuations and following up on inspection reports
  • Chasing updates from solicitors and lenders
  • Deliver excellent customer service to help the business achieve its goals

Buy to Let and Commercial Mortgage Administrator Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional and friendly telephone manner
  • A proactive mindset, capable of identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Experience in residential BTL and commercial mortgage processing (desirable but not essential)
  • CeMAP qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
