Transport Compliance and Driver Manager Required
Our client, a leading coach hire and passenger transport provider in the UK, is seeking an experienced Transport Compliance and Driver Manager. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a professional to focus on driver management and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
Job Summary:
The Transport Compliance and Driver Manager will oversee the management of drivers and ensure full compliance with transport laws and safety standards. This role involves monitoring driver performance, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring vehicles and drivers meet all legal requirements. The successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations through effective driver supervision and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the driver team, ensuring adherence to schedules and legal requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety, driver hours, and transport regulations.
- Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver records.
- Handle driver training, recruitment, and performance management.
- Address any compliance issues promptly and work with drivers to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide reports on compliance and driver performance to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a transport management or compliance-focused role.
- Transport Manager CPC is essential.
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance, driver regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple drivers and resolve issues effectively.
Benefits:
