Technical Manager wanted for this well established main contractor/developer who focus on high specification residential projects across the South East. As a Technical Manager you will work closely with all other departments within the company helping to produce extremely high quality projects all of which will be ofbespoke design and specification. Your duties in the role will include as follows:

  • Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher, working with the companiesQuality Plan
  • Motivating and encouraging external design teams
  • Overseeing the design process using technical expertise and ensuring thought to associated packages
  • Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
  • Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
  • Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction
  • Ensuring designs are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time, working with the company Document Control systems and assisting in improvement feedback
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
  • Keeping up-to-date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
  • Working in an office, with regular site visits and occasional periods based on site with the site teams. (London and South East / South)
