Our client is a forward-thinking, vibrant, creative company they design and develop leading consumer products for retailers globally. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented International Senior Operations Executive to join their growing operations team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have good sales operations experience and youre eager to make a meaningful impact, this role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development.

As an Senior Operations Executive, you'll be at the heart of their operations, working closely with the Head of Operations, the wider sales operations team, to ensure seamless coordination across departments and the efficient delivery of products to their customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately process sales orders including handling marketplace orders, communicating with customers, and updating product information, collaborating with their warehouses for swift and accurate deliveries.
  • Running daily WIPs to ensure stock and orders are allocated accurately.
  • Accurately manage orders once order is placed ensuring everything is meeting expectations.
  • Review supplier manuals to understand procedures, ensuring all relevant teams have necessary information to fulfil orders accurately and punctually.
  • Ensuring that all the behind-the-scenes operations are running smoothly, including timely assistance to customer inquiries regarding product details (new line forms), samples, compliance documentation, and internal data collation.
  • Involvement with transport and shipping of the export orders, including to the US warehouse (pallets and containers).
  • Oversee any necessary rework of stock, ensuring costs are approved and accounted for appropriately.
  • Manage communication and coordination with international warehouses.
  • Setting and monitoring SLAs with the warehouse including the improvement of order accuracy.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards and service improvements where necessary.
  • Implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Act as a liaison between various teams throughout the organisation, facilitating effective communication and workflow management.

Qualifications and prior experience:

  • 5 years of experience in operations administration, with exposure to sales, warehouse, or logistics administration being advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations requirements of major retailers.
  • Confidence in communication, the ability to push back when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong numerical aptitude, including Excel.
  • Prior experience in the consumer products industry.
  • Display a positive, proactive attitude, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised and adept at multitasking, thriving in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative independently while fostering a collaborative team spirit.
