Hourly Rate: 15-17/hour (PAYE) depending on experience
The Role
We are seeking Test Technicians to join a specialist team. You will conduct physical and environmental testing on various materials, products, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and performance standards.
This is a hands-on role, requiring attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technical work.
Initially this will be a contract role, but should lead into permanent work in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests, working with specialist equipment, such as environmental chambers, mechanical test rigs, and fire resistance apparatus.
- Accurately record and analyse test data, preparing detailed reports on performance outcomes.
- Ensure tests comply with industry standards such as BS, EN, and ISO regulations.
- Support research and development projects in innovative construction solutions.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols in testing environments.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in laboratory or field-based testing, ideally in construction, materials science, or engineering.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment and data collection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to testing
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
