Looking to work for a value led organisation where people and communities are at the heart of what they do?

Due to maternity, our client, who will be moving to Central Watford in the near future (currently just outside the centre), is looking to appoint a People Services Team Lead on an 18-month FTC basis. The role oversees the development of three HR Administrators and has overall responsibility for ensuring delivery of all transactional HR activity including business critical compliance / vetting.

Alongside this, the role supports the People Services Manager in delivering key projects including developing HRIS processes, enhancing and embedding efficiencies in service including building a new ticketing service as a way forward. Other project work will focus on setting SLA's for the service, looking at workflows, attending scoping meetings for the projects and more.

Key Background:

? Previous experience of working with HR systems

? Ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Advance Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint sufficient enough to analyse data, produce letters, reports, processes, spreadsheets and presentations is necessary.

? Basic understanding of HR generalist role, including employee relations, reward, payroll, employment legislation.

? Experience of working in a regulated industry where Employee background checks have been necessary is desirable

? CIPD qualified (or working towards this) desirable

? Ability to use judgment when advising the business on appropriate actions

? Ability to support less experienced team members and ensure that correct levels of prioritisation are applied to activities.

? Manages priorities effectively to achieve deadlines, and can work on multiple activities at once to accomplish objectives

? Awareness and demonstrable experience of handling sensitive personal information and employee queries

? Personally committed to and actively works to continuously improve themselves

? Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
