Reporting to the Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include:* Preparing all procurement duties and exercises.* Staying updated on new materials in the market.* Scheduling and placing material and plant orders with suppliers.* Attending internal pre-start and team meetings.* Checking drawings for discrepancies and ensuring compliance with material specifications.* Producing material cost schedules and budgets.* Assessing supplier quotations and placing orders.* Reporting material cost increases.* Providing site material accruals monthly.* Compiling quarterly material valuations.* Resolving invoice queries.* Conducting material checks on-site and producing reports.* Raising office and Sales and Marketing orders.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have:* Proven experience as a Buyer within the construction industry.* Strong knowledge of procurement processes and material specifications.* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.What you'll get in returnIn return for your expertise and dedication, you will receive:
