Job Advert: SEN Teacher (SEMH)
Location: Watford
Salary: 160 - 230 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Temp to Perm)
TimePlan Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and dedicated SEMH School in Watford. We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to work with secondary-aged pupils in small class settings, with fantastic support from experienced staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teaching and supporting secondary-aged pupils in small classes
- Planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual needs
- Collaborating with a team of support staff per class to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure all students thrive
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting with full class responsibility
- Experience working with SEMH
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (not essential with the right experience)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
