Our client is a well established Pharmaceutical Manufacturer with over 3 decades of experience in the UK. The company has a reputation of delivering well prices and well manufactured Generic Pharmaceutical Products to leading retailers across the United Kingdom.
As part of their ongoing company development and improvement, they are looking to introduce a Head of Quality Assurance to their business, to be responsible for providing the quality direction and oversight for the formulations and process development activites for their products.
This person will be responsible for ensuring that all products are produced in accordance with the requiremetns of the appropriate product licenses as per the GMP guidelines.
Ideally the Head of Quality would also be a QP (Qualified Person) for batch release, although this is not a requirement, just primarily desirable.
The ideal candidate would be:
- A strong communicator, and leader
- Broad experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- QP Eligible
- Minimum of 5 years in QA on a GMP site
- Previously having lead a team in QA as a Senior Manager - Director level already
- Experience managing a departmental budget etc.
