Our client is seeking Shipping Coordinators to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for someone with a background in logistics or shipping coordination, looking to further their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist and handle the day-to-day operational matters within the Shipping team.
- Monitor the purchase order schedule (Ex-factory) and address any delays.
- Coordinate, assist, and manage the shipment of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
- Arrange, schedule, and monitor shipments for both domestic and international deliveries.
- Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and 3PL logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch, shipping, and delivery of goods.
- Verify shipping documentation and enter the inbound details in ERP.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate with the forwarder to resolve shipping issues and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in shipping or logistics coordination.
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferable.
- Proficiency in any ERP software and MS Office, especially Excel.
