Salary: £38,000

Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our clients team, ensuring our production equipment operates at peak efficiency. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in minimising downtime and optimising production performance.

Key Responsibilities or the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Qualifications: 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations certification is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong fault-finding ability and knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently or as part of ateam.
