Our client, a well-established and growing UK-based manufacturing business, is looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance function, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and contribute to the company's long-term strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hands-on financial leader to make a real impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

  • Lead the finance department, managing four direct reports

  • Oversee the review and improvement of a newly implemented ERP system

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and year-end financial reports

  • Ensure cash flow control and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making

  • Oversee the IT function and maintain financial systems

  • Manage customer credit limits, debt insurance, and debt collection

  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices across financial operations

  • Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with Group policies

Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred) with at least three years post-qualification experiencience

  • Strong background in financial control, budgeting, and cash flow management.

  • A hands-on approach, capable of engaging with senior management and driving business success.
