About the Role
Are you ready to take on a dynamic and impactful role? As part of the Wanzl Car Park Management Team, the CPM Chargehand plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. You will oversee the collection of abandoned trolleys, ensuring they are promptly returned to customer pick-up points in pristine condition. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management:Assume responsibility for the site in the absence of the Site Supervisor, including during rota days off, annual leave, or sickness.
- Policy Adherence:Ensure the team adheres to the companys HR policies, health and safety policies, and procedures, including all applicable safe systems of work.
- Trolley Collection:Oversee the collection of abandoned trolleys, ensuring they are quickly returned to customer pick-up points in a clean condition.
- Time Sheets:Accurately record and submit time sheets on a weekly basis.
- Rosters:Complete weekly rosters to ensure adequate staffing.
- Customer Relations:Liaise with store managers and staff to develop and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Customer Service:Deal with customers and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Site Cleanliness:Perform onsite cleaning duties, ensuring the site is always clean and presentable, including litter picking and maintaining flower beds, car parking spaces, and customer-facing areas.

- Team Management:Experience in running a small team.
- Reliability:Must be trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
- Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills are essential.
- IT Skills:Basic understanding of Information Technology systems.
- Driving License:Must have a full driving license.
