My Client have been manufacturing in the area for years and have a factory packed to the rafters of automated machinery who supply to the automotive industry. This is an amazing opportunity for a maintenance team leader to focus on reactive maintenance with a large element on improvements and root cause analysis. The maintenance team Leader will demonstrate existing knowledge of CNC machines (at least navigating the interface) and will have focused on reactive maintenance in their current role with proven experience of how they have improved the machinery to decrease the amount of reactive maintenance needed. This is an incredible opportunity for an existing maintenance team leader or a hands on maintenance engineer from a CNC background. The role will involve training and they are only recruiting as someone has retired. The CNC machines they have on-site include Grob, Starrag and more. This role will be 50/50 desk based to hands on.
Benefits for the maintenance team leader:
- 27 flexi days per year (Jan 1 to 31 Dec) 1 extra day after 5 years service + 8 stat days.
- Matched pension to 6%
- 2 x life assurance
- Medi-cash for the maintenance team leader
- Training both internally and externally
- Incredible longevity within the existing maintenance team
Experience required for the maintenance team leader:
- Must have knowledge/experience on CNC machines
- Exp. working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - would look at either bias
- Would look at someone without team leader/supervisory experience who is looking for that next step up
- most duties will be mechanical with some electrical
- knowledge of assembly machine and robotics is advantageous (kuka/abb)
- Attitude is key for this role, loads of development and progression opportunities for the maintenance team leader
