Currently working with a leading automotive business based in Walsall looking for a Maintenance Engineer from an apprentice trained background whom has worked on CNC machines and has experience with other assembly machines.

This role involves leading a small team of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers, but is more of a guidance and technical leadership role, rather than man management.

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards & all other Company policies and procedures.
- Responding to Breakdowns with Extensive fault finding (both electrical and mechanical)
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance of our CNC machinery and assembly equipment.
- Carry out servicing work, including the completion of service reports and internal systems via our CMMS system.
- Co-operate and support all maintenance activities to meet the overall department objectives.
- Contribute to a positive 5S policy to the agreed standards.
- The ability to work within a team environment based on openness, mutual respect, and collaborative working.
- Support the TPM/PPM follow-up activities to ensure timely close out.
- Use SAP or other IT tools to document activities.
- Undertake any other reasonable requests by the Company.
